Meet Emily

Hi, I'm Emily!

I am a Registered Dietitian passionate about supporting individuals in building a balanced, sustainable relationship with food, movement, and their bodies. My approach is rooted in collaboration and empathy, with the belief that you are the expert in your own experience and I am here to walk alongside you in your recovery. I strive to create a positive, collaborative space where you feel empowered to move beyond rigid food rules and the confines of diet culture. I believe that everyone deserves to live a well-nourished life and firmly believe that you cannot live a full life on an empty stomach!

Growing up as a competitive Irish dancer, I know firsthand the pressures of performance, body image, and fueling in sport. At the height of my dance career, I struggled with my own relationship to food and exercise. These experiences, combined with my professional training, have shaped my particular passion for supporting athletes and dancers in breaking free from cycles of underfueling and overtraining. I am dedicated to helping athletes not only reach their full potential, but also protect their mental, physical, and emotional well-being along the way.

I hold a Master’s degree in Nutrition with a Certificate in Sports Nutrition from Simmons University in Boston, USA, and completed my dietetic internship through the University of Minnesota’s specialised eating disorder track. My clinical experience spans various levels of eating disorder care including partial hospitalisation, intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment. In addition, I am certified STOTT Pilates Instructor, passionate about helping individuals build a strong mind body connection, move in a way that feels joyful, and shift the focus of exercise toward how it makes one feel.
