In a climate rife with nutritional misinformation, I support my client’s overall “health” through fusing evidence-based nutritional science with their own personalised needs, goals and preferences.

Nutrition for Everyday Life

My Nutrition for everyday life consultations are for individuals who feel they have a more stable relationship with food, but are confused about what to believe and who to trust when it comes to nutrition science and best translating this into everyday eating.

For example you might be wondering:

  • Should I be intermittent fasting?

  • Should I eat breakfast?

  • Do I need to be veggie / vegan to be healthy?

  • Is it ok to snack?

  • Are carbohydrates bad for me?

  • Should I be taking a probiotic or supplements?

I get that nutrition can be very confusing! Maintaining the same holistic, personalised and compassionate approach, I guide clients to make gentle and sustainable nutritional changes, that feel good, with the intention of supporting their physical, mental, social and emotional health, leaving you feeling your best.

I follow a non-diet approach which means we’ll put the intention of weight loss on the back burner to focus on wellbeing, and addressing your unique goals including improving energy, mood, sleep, stress management and whatever it is you’d like to focus on.

I have experience working in the following areas:

  • Diet optimisation / specific health related goals

  • Digestive disturbances

  • Specialist dietary consideration (vegan, vegetarianism etc)

  • Nutrition for students

  • Nutritious Eating on a budget

  • Nutrition through the lifecycles (puberty, menopause, ageing)

  • Women’s health

What to expect:

Pre Consultation:

You’ll receive some forms via email to be completed and returned prior to our initial session. This will provide me with an inclination of your past and current health status, dietary and lifestyle habits, as well as your personal goals.

Initial Consultation | 60 Minutes:

During the initial consultation, we’ll talk more about your aims and develop a series of long and short term goals related to your specific needs.

Subsequent Sessions | 50-55 Minutes

Here we’ll monitor progress and adapt or develop new goals depending on advancements or arising concerns. You will further be provided with information, resources and (optional) homework tasks.

Multi-Disciplinary Support:

During our work together, it may be important for me to communicate with other health care professionals including; the GP, therapist, psychiatrist, parents, caregivers or others necessary for your support. This is to ensure you receive the highest level of care possible and are not physically or mentally at risk. You will be provided with a document outlining how protected health information about yourself may be used and disclosed and your permission for this will be obtained prior to the initial consultation.
